Najib is opposed to Perkasa’s views, according to Gerakan

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 Though it is not made public, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is opposed to the racist agenda of Perkasa, Gerakan interim president Datuk Chang Ko Youn claimed today.

Chang told a press conference after opening Gerakans congress here that in all of the partys dealings with Najib, the PM had repeatedly expressed his opposition to Perkasas communal agenda despite not making the stand public.

Im not sure about criticising but in all of our dealings with the PM, he definitely doesnt share Perkasas views, Chang said, Malay Mail Online reported.

In his opening speech, Chang called on the Government to reject all forms of extremist politics and named Perkasa, specifically, as an enemy of multi-racial Malaysia.

Najib, in his opening speech, echoed Changs view that Barisan Nasional should reject racist politics.
