On Thursday 20th December 2007 a public holiday coinciding with Hari Raya Haji, the State Assemblyman for Bukit Lanjan, Selangor, YB Datin Paduka Yong Dai Ying held a meaningful Christmas gathering themed “WITH LOVE AND CARE” at YB’s service center  in the BU3 Community Hall in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

In the true spirit of Christmas, the churches and Old Folks Homes of the Bukit Lanjan Constituency were not forgotten. YB Datin Paduka Yong Dai Ying had invited 30 inmates from “My Father’s Home” to be feted. Also included in the celebrations were members of each of the 7 churches of the Bukit Lanjan area namely: 

                                     i) SSMC
                                     ii) Logos Presbyterian Church of Bandar Sri Damansara
                                    iii) Logos Presbyterian Church of Saujana Damansara
                                    iv) Bridges Tuition Center
                                    v)  Full Gospel Tabernacle Bandar Sri Damansara
                                   vi) Gereja Katolik Cahaya Desa Jaya
                                  vii) Tamil Methodist Church Sunway Mas

YB Datin Paduka Yong Dai Ying also ensured that her honoured guests were well taken care of by providing sumptuous food for all present and entertainment with Christmas carols and dancing.

The Bukit Lanjan Service center in Bandar Utama was decked in Christmas decorations and aglow in red, green and gold, reflecting the Christmas spirit of LOVE and CARE.

All the guests had a most enjoyable time which lasted from 2pm to 5pm and everyone took the opportunity to thank YB Datin Paduka Yong for her loving and caring spirit for her community.
