The proposal that requires women traveling abroad alone to get an authorization letter from their parents of or employer is ridiculous.

In the first place, it infringes on individual rights and personal freedom, particularly for those over 18. Is this a dictatorship or police state? By this weird logic, men also have to be included. Why the discrimination?

If they are indeed involved in drug transportation, there are better means to nab them, what with all the sophisticated screening technology at airports.

Hopefully the government drops this strange idea, before we become the laughing stock of the world.
