Voters in Macap are requested to vote practically. Being a semi-urban constituency, much needs to be done in terms of development. Housing, drainage, roads and other infrastructure, though improved under the late Dato’ Poh Ah Tiam, have to be further developed. This is so that Macap can keep up with the tremendous pace of development in Malacca. It can only be accomplished by supporting Barisan Nasional candidate Lai Meng Chong. The respected people of Macap can gain nothing by voting for the opposition. They say they will fight for this and that. But can they deliver? Surely the State Government, that has the means to provide development, will find it easier to work with a Barisan Nasional representative. Every single vote is important. Please come out in full support of the Barisan Nasional on polling day.
