1.      With the dissolution of Parliament, we are now entering the final lap towards what would be the mother of all elections. As Malaysians exercise their rights as voters and contemplating which party to vote, I appeal to voters especially the Indian community to give a stronger mandate to Barisan Nasional (BN) and PM Najib.

2.      Pakatan Harapan (PH) does not offer hope, there are many promises made but non are realistic which cannot be fulfilled by PH. We have ample examples of how PH state government in Penang and Selangor have repeatedly failed the people in the last 10 years.

3.      Worse, over and over during and after Tun Dr Mahathir premiership he has always demonstrated that he has no respect for the Indian community in this country, so how he will uplift the Indian community at large?

4.      The problems faced by the Indians were unattended during the administration of a 93-year-old man where many Indian settlers in plantations were displaced due to overemphasis on heavy industries without taking their livelihood into consideration.

5.      However, things started to turn for the better during the administration of PM Najib, we stand witness to the gradual enhancement and empowerment of Indian community in recent years, which never happened during Tun Dr Mahathir’s tenure as PM.

6.      PM Najib made the uplifting of the Indian community a top priority hence the creation of many groups such as the Malaysian Indian Blueprint, Secretariat of Empowerment of Indian Entrepreneurs (SEED), Socio-Economic Development of Indian Community (SEDIC) among others.

7.      The MyDaftar campaign was a success as it provided citizenship to many stateless Indians and the programme is still ongoing. More citizenship issues can be solved under the administration of PM Najib.

8.      Indian voters should consider the track record of BN such as the previous GE13 Manifesto where 99.4% was delivered.  Again, BN Manifesto for GE14 has promised to continue the good work and more betterment for Indian community.

9.       As of today there is not many Indian leaders within the top leadership of PH, how can we expect PH will understand and fight for the Indian community?

10.     A responsible government will stick to its stand and delivers instead of changing it just for the sake of fishing votes as such action will be detrimental to the country and the future generation.

11.     BN remains the best choice for Malaysian Indians to see a better and brighter future for the sake of our children.

12.     There is no need for the Indians to regress back into a previous leadership instead of a current one that truly cares and delivers for the people.
