KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines Tuesday won the Reader's Digest "Trusted Brand Platinium Award 2006" for the Airline Category, for four consecutive years since 2003.
The award was presented by Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Ng Lip Yong to MAS Commercial Director Datuk Abdul Rashid Khan at a ceremony here.
Commenting on the achievement, MAS Managing Director Idris Jala said that the airline will continue to upgrade its services and enhance products offered to customers in order to remain their trusted airline brand, locally and globally.
"We thank the consumers for voting us as their most trusted airline brand. This is indeed an honour for us as it is recognition of the consumers' trust in our consistent service to customers," he said in a statement here, today.
Regional Advertising Director for Reader's Digest Asia, Simon Cholmeley said consumers were asked to rate the brands they chose on six qualitative criteria, Trustworthiness, Credible Image, Quality, Value, Understanding of Consumer's Needs and Innovation.
